Katia Sanchez-Torres

Katia is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Meadowland Therapy. She was born in Pocatello, Idaho, but she has lived in American Falls all my life. She graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and an Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2025. Her first language is Spanish, and she speaks it fluently. She is proud to help Spanish-speaking patients feel understood and supported during their recovery.

After suffering a concussion during a soccer match, she became interested in physical therapy. Her neck muscles became extremely tense when the ball struck my head, necessitating physical therapy. Her experience receiving physical therapy motivated her to improve patients’ quality of life and help them return to their favorite activities through compassionate care.

She enjoys watching movies and series, playing soccer, spending time outdoors, and spending time with my family and friends.
