Amber Durrant, DPT

Amber was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California. She attended BYU-Idaho, graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. Amber’s passion for travel led her to complete her college internship in Paraguay, collecting women’s health data, during her undergraduate studies. After graduating from BYU-Idaho in 2013, Amber joined the Peace Corps and spent 2.5 years in Morocco working with youth and developing women’s health programs. After returning to the United States, Amber received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2020. Shortly thereafter, she married and relocated to Pocatello. Amber lives a very active lifestyle where she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and ATVing with her husband and daughter.

Over the past few years, Amber has actively developed her physical therapy skills with opportunities to serve the Pocatello community within the areas of geriatric, wound care, and pelvic rehab. She is dedicated to the pursuit of further education and continues to progress with her skills and knowledge of pelvic floor therapy.

Amber’s goals are to help patients feel better physically, emotionally, and socially through their healing journey. Amber wants to create an uplifting and engaging experience for her patients where they feel their concerns are paramount to their therapy and empower them to be an active participant with their own care.
