Can I go to any physical therapy clinic that I choose?

Yes! As a patient, you have the choice in where you will receive physical therapy treatments for your pain. You can have a conversation with your doctor about the clinic that you want them to refer you to.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1605119805509{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]

Do I need a referral for physical therapy services?

No! Idaho is a direct access state which allows you to receive PT without a referral. However,  for most insurances to reimburse for therapy they like to have a referral from a physician before beginning physical therapy.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1605119817670{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]

What do I wear to my first appointment?

You will want to wear comfortable clothing that you feel able to move easily in, along with a good pair of shoes.  You will also want your clothing loose so the therapist can get to the area that they are treating.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1605119849498{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]

What if I don’t have insurance?

For those patients who don’t have insurance coverage or have maxed out their therapy benefits, we have self-pay options. If you have questions about self-pay, please give us a call.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1605119862526{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]

How many sessions will I have?

Each patient’s diagnosis is different, so together with your referring physician, your therapist will develop a plan of care that is right for you. Your plan of care and number of visits will be determined during your first visit and explained to you by your physical therapist.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1605119871883{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]
